NRP NCCP 2016 Recertification / Paramedic Refresher

This course meet the National Registry guidelines for recertification at Paramedic Level.

*15 Hours Local / State Component

* AHA ACLS/PALS

The didactic portion of the Ohio PARAMEDIC Refresher Training Program may be taught through online or distance learning formats in accordance with OAC 4765-7-11, however cognitive and psychomotor testing shall be conducted in a traditional classroom environment. This course meets the ODPS Transition updates.

Agenda

The Didactic portion of this course will be conducted  through distance learning accordance with OAC4765-7-11.

• Airway Management & Ventilation 7hours
• Cardiology 17hours
• Medical Emergencies 17 hours
• Trauma 6 hours
• Operations 13 hours
• ACLS/PALS will be included in the skill days

Psychomotor testing with simulations in related topics accordance with OAC 4765-7-11.

All CE hours may be used toward renewal of NRP Paramedic Certification.

You will be assigned your Mandatory dates by Ken Crank via email after your registration has been submitted.

Class location: Blackboard(Didactics)/Simulation Center(Psychomotor).

January 19th Blackboard opens 

February 5th (Mandatory) 1st Skills day- Trauma  8am-11a and 12p - 3p if needed, this will cover ACLS skills

February 24th (Mandatory) 2nd Skills day- Medical Skills Stations 8am-11am and 12p - 3p if needed, this will cover PALS skills
